Comfy East Tawas Cottage Home Close to Everything!

This is a smoke free/pet free property. No large gatherings or parties allowed. Although we are not located on the beach, we are 2 blocks from the lake and 4-7 blocks from the beach. When staying at our place you are a 7 minute drive to Tawas Point State Park, 19 minutes from Lumberman's Monument/National Forest, and 14 minutes from Red Hawk Golf Course. Also a short distance from canoeing, kayaking, bike trails & hiking. Plentiful shops restaurants and bars to enjoy. Our ranch style cottage home is clean, comfortable, spacious & offers ample sleeping space. The listing shows 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has one queen and one full. There is an additional twin bed set up in the large laundry area for extra sleeping space. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and laundry room (sorry, no central air), large yard, fire pit, bikes, corn hole, grill. Our kitchen has a gas stove, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, toaster, silverware, microwave & refrigerator (no dishwasher). All bedding and towels included. Residential neighborhood Quiet neighborhood - Noise level must be kept to a minimum outside the home to be respectful to neighbors. Large corner lot with plenty of room for lawn games and hanging out. Easy to drive, bike, or walk around our neighborhood and Downtown East Tawas. As is the case with most cottages in the Tawas area there is no central air conditioning. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well as other fans in the home. We also do get a pretty good lake breeze to enjoy. Because this property is in a residential neighborhood, it is important to be mindful and respectful of neighbors and keep outside noise level to a minimum.
