Cottage on the bay in Bay Shore

Newly remodeled first floor guest suite in dockside cottage; steps to local waterfront restaurants and marina; walking distance to Main Street shopping, restaurants and nightlife and just minutes from the Fire Island ferries and Long Island Railroad. Amenities include full kitchen, outdoor shower and hot tub. A perfect and comfortable getaway spot for two guests. Arrangements for additional guests upon request. The cottage has all the amenities you should need for an enjoyable stay. While we are just a stroll away from many waterfront restaurants and 1/2 mile from Main Street, if you’d rather stay in and dine, there’s a full kitchen in your unit and there’s a barbecue located right outside your patio doors on the dock. You can relax and enjoy watching the ferries and boats pass by from the comfort of your home away from home. Guests have access to patio, dock, driveway (for one car), yard, hot tub, outdoor shower and barbecue. Bicycles and kayaks can also be made available upon request. Always available for questions in person, by text or e-mail. Feel free to approach us at anytime for local tips or recommendations. If we are around, we are always happy to provide a lift to or from the train station or ferry. We are located in the historic district of our bayside community and are only a stroll away from many restaurants as well as Bay Shore Marina where you’ll find a beach and a promenade dock to walk along to view the beautiful Great South Bay. For kids, there’s a sprinkler park and a playground. We are walking distance to many restaurants both on the waterfront and in town where there is shopping, coffee shops and nightlife. You can also walk to both the Long Island Railroad train station as well as fire island ferries. Bicycle riding is a fun way to get around and upon request we can arrange for bikes to use during your stay. If we are around, we also gladly drop off and pick up at the train or ferry. If you have a car, Robert Moses State Park is a beautiful place to see our famous white sand beaches on the Atlantic Ocean as well as the beautiful Fire Island Light House just a ten minute car ride away.
