Visitors to Maple Landing always exclaim that they love this place. The view of Maple Lake, the pond, and stream all contribute to the serenity of this cozy cottage. Flowers blooming year round and a walking path through the woods surrounding the pond make for a relaxing outdoor atmosphere. The outdoor living space is perfect for campfires (wood is free). Wildlife is abundant with deer, ducks, blue heron, rabbits, birds, turtles, & frogs. The pond is stocked with perch, blue gill, and bass. The view from the south side of the studio is Maple Lake where you can see boats, kayaks, swans, and ducks on the water. The view from the north side of the studio is our private pond with a fountain, ducks, birds and a blue heron that visits nearly every day. Flower gardens surround the entire cottage. Guests have their own private access to the entire studio through a sliding door entry at the top of the upper deck on the back side of the cottage. This upper deck outside entry is solely for guest use during their stay at Maple Landing. The deck includes a sitting area with chairs to watch the sunrise or sunset, as well as table complete with an umbrella and four chairs. This is a great place for morning coffee. Will socialize with guests if that is their preference. If guests prefer more space, that request will be honored. If it is the small town atmosphere you are looking for, Paw Paw will provide that for you.
