The Bitty House

The Bitty House property is a modern cabin with an outstanding view of the Bald Knob Peace Cross. On the road to Bald Knob and adjacent to The Peach Barn Winery and Restaurant (formerly the Hedman Winery) our cabin is convenient to all the Shawnee Hills have to offer. Outstanding wineries, hiking, potters, and great food! The guests have full and exclusive use of the Bitty House and also have access to the property outside. The property has a picnic table and fire pit which guests are welcome to use. There is also an observation platform on the property which provides a lovely spot for just relaxing and enjoying the peace of this unique area. The owners have a dwelling on the property and we will often be at the property when there are guests. The Bitty House is next door to the Peach Barn Winery and Restaurant ( formerly the Hedman Winery) and within less than a mile to the Alto Vineyards. It has one of the best views of the Bald Knob Cross in the area. The area is full of things to do: hiking, enjoying the wine trail or local breweries, outstanding food, or just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Access to the Bitty House is on a well maintained road and there is a dedicated parking spot on the property. Access to local hiking is outstanding, only two miles to the Godwin Trailhead on the River to River Trail, and less than 10 miles to the Little Grand Canyon area and the Cedar Lake Trail system.
