Day's events are via cable TV, hi-speed internet (500mbps) or wi-fi. Opposite the queen bed in a 10 x 20 room is a desk/work area, the fully equipped kitchen with a counter top, stools and a dining area, your own washer and dryer and a 24-hour Super Walmart and restaurants (including ethnic) just minutes away . This property is unique as it was built in the 1920's as part of a large poultry farm (Kingsway Poultry Colony) and it encompassed 80 one acre sites bought by people from all over the USA and Canada. The host's house next door is all original and is listed on the country historic list. Fruit trees and numerous flower gardens attest to the fertile soil on the one acre property. A little bit of heaven in the heart of Brandon! Guests have the entire cottage to themselves and the fenced in garden property it is sitting on. They also have their own private driveway and walkway. (well lighted at night) Guests may self check in with a lockbox on the front door. We give our guests their own space but are always available to answer questions or to help in any way we can. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world. We are within walking distance to grocery stores and drug stores, many different restaurants, retail stores but live in a quiet secluded neighborhood. There are city buses 1 block up on SR 60 and on Sadie St. 2 blocks to the north.
