A morning coffee on our patio in the summer months or a soak in the hot tub under the stars are fantastic ways to start and end your day. The morning view from the bedrooms and living room speaks for itself. This cottage is perfect for couples and small families. Families up to 5, MINIMUM rental age is 30. - You have access to the house with private access to our dock located a few steps away. - Ladder access into the water directly from the dock. - Rocky shore - Access to kayaks and paddle board 2 parking spaces available in the driveway MAXIMUM. The cottage is close to all the amenities in Orillia and Barrie including biking, hiking, golf, swimming, horse back riding, tree top trekking, shopping and much more. Hardwood Ski and Bike is located 10 min away. The facility is a family oriented cross country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking and outdoor recreation area. Summer time: Enjoy the bike trails in the woods through the old scenic railway trail spanning from Barrie to Orillia. Cool off in the water with private access available steps from the house. Enjoy stargazing over a bonfire. You have access to a paddle-board but must bring your own life-jacket. Winter time: Enjoy the cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing, or snowmobiling along the famous rail trail. Horseshoe Valley and Mount St. Louis Moonstone are within 25 min of our cottage (skiing, skating, tubing). There is a nearby boat launch for boating or seadoos. **We are currently providing long term accommodations for bookings 28+ days. Please contact for a monthly quote. We have a gas BBQ available for you to use (all seasons) as well as a fire pit in the summer months. Garbage and recycling pickup is every Monday morning. Please put the boxes by the entrance of the property. Due to severe allergies within our household we have a zero pet policy at the cottage. NO PETS allowed during any time of your stay at the cottage. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in your canceled reservation and no refund will be granted. Security cameras at the property for your safety. We are on a septic system, please DO NOT flush anything other than the toilet paper that is provided (No paper towels, tissues, feminine products, baby wipes or flushable wipes)! Ladder access into water directly from our dock (May - October). Available for our guests to use: 1 kayak 1 paddle board 2 kids kayaks (up to 115lbs each) (Life jackets available for adults, we strongly advise for guests to bring their own PFD’s for adequate fit. Must bring children’s lifejackets) The noise bylaw in effect by city of Oro-medonte is between 10pm - 7am. Please ensure you keep the noise down outside within this time frame. Minimum booking age is 30+. Maximum 5 family members at the property at all times! If you fail to disclose extra guests at time of booking your reservation will be cancelled immediately and no refund will be provided for the remainder balance.
