This lovely Canaan NY house looks over miles of mountains to the west. Only 2.5 hrs from NYC and 2 hours from Boston. A beautiful perch to admire Fall foliage. In the wintertime, perfect for skiers, 17 miles to Jiminy Peak, 20 to Butternut & 22 to Catamount. In the summer, all Berkshire County features are close by, as the house is 3 miles from MA Berkshire County border. Very close to the Thruway and Mass Pike. Note that in the winter, an AWD car is necessary. An uninterrupted view for miles. From the living room and deck, not one house in sight. All areas are open to guests, including the ping pong table in the basement. I will probably be nearby, 6 miles away. Northern New York State’s Columbia County and 3 miles from Massachusetts’ Berkshire County. You’ll need a car for access. In the winter, an AWD or 4 WD is advisable. Ping pong table in the basement.
