The Garden Apartment is a quiet relaxing place to land after a busy day hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park which surrounds Heritage Farms. There is plenty of room for 4 adults or a family. There is a large bedroom which features a queen size bed. Off the living/ dining area is curtained sleeping alcove with a full size bed. The living area has a large sandstone wood burning fireplace. The out door patio has a sitting area and a picnic table . A fire ring is next to the patio. Heritage Farms is a 5 generation 174 year old farm surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We are a working Christmas Tree farm . We are home to Fairy Days Fairy festival and The Peninsula Flea summer artisan markets. Pumpkin Pandemonium is our Fall festival weekends in October. And of course, in December we offer fresh cut and precut Christmas trees. We are located near Boston Mills/ Brandywine Ski resorts, Blossom Music Center ,many National Park hike and bike trails and much more. We invite our guests to hike around the farm and enjoy all the nature around you. The Gazebo is a wonderful place to relax and read in the afternoon or to end the day with a cool drink while you enjoy the sunset. Be sure to check out The Peninsula Flea, our handcrafted artist market on June 4th. June 25th, July 2nd, August 6th and September 3rd.. from 10 am to 4 pm with vendor set up near the apartment beginning at 7 am. Our Fall festival, Pumpkin Pandemonium, is on weekends beginning the last weekend in September through the last weekend of October. During these weekends we will have our activities, hayrides and pumpkin sales open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Apartment guests have their own private parking spot and access to a separate entrance to the farm. During Pumpkin Pandemonium hours there will be many people attending and some noise near the unit. After 5:00 pm the farm returns to a quiet tranquil retreat. We are a working farm so we ask our guests to please watch for moving machinery and to not go into any of the farm buildings or the farmhouse. George and I live here in the farmhouse . We try to greet each guest when they arrive and be sure they have our cell number in case they need anything. From May to October we also have primitive camping on the farm so there will be campers on property but not around the house area. We are a working farm so at times there will be equipment moving around . We try very hard to not disturb our guests early in the morning or after early evening. There is early morning noise and activity on the mornings of The Peninsula Flea.
