Mill House in Historic District

Spend your time in lovely Historic Hillsborough-- which is centrally located near Durham and Chapel Hill- in a charming 3 bedroom mill house. Close to Eno River, West End and Downtown via the new River Walk trail. Close to history and nature! 1898 Mill House in the Historic District in Hillsborough, NC--our town is home to artists and writers, lovely anytime of year! Certain weeks are open for a whole house rental. There is also one cheerful bedroom (queen bed) as well as one ensuite bedroom/bath which are available for short stays. There is no interaction during whole house rentals, and B & B service is available for single room bookings. I live in the home with my twin sons and our home is lived-in! When we are on vacation the entire house is available, otherwise only individual rooms (up to 4 people) are available. Please see my individual room listing for further information and prices. Its scenic beauty, graceful architecture spanning three centuries, lively arts and culture scene, and convenient location provide a charming getaway for the day - or longer. There are bicycles to use around town, our new River Walk connects downtown, West Hillsborough and Gold Park. Parking is available on the property. Duke and UNC are 10 minutes driving, and Raleigh is 1/2 hour drive. Chapel Hill Transit provide a public rout (Website hidden by Airbnb) (#420) between Chapel Hill and Hillsborough. The public route serves downtown Hillsborough, Triangle SportsPlex, Chapel Hill North Shopping Center, downtown Chapel Hill, and UNC Hospital. Pets are welcome (with a fee)-- cats come with the house, so no cat allergies are recommended!
