Welcome Pad in Relaxing Home Next to Park and Lake

"Home" is not a place; it's a feeling. Looking for a quiet and relaxing "pad" while vacationing or traveling for business?Our home is located on a wooded lot next to a lovely park and lake. Private room on ground floor with separate entrance and tastefully decorated to make you feel welcomed! Fenced in yard. Space includes TV, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave, and 7 cubic feet refrigerator. We love our pets so welcome yours for a nominal fee. We follow cleaning and disinfecting procedures! Room is comfy yet practical for both personal and work purposes. There is a shared printer that can be accessed if needed. We are amidst nature. You will see birds at the feeders, squirrels at their feeders and deer up close and personal! The neighborhood is private/secluded and adjacent to a county park with picnic area, lake and nature center. The "development" is a lovely place to walk. Within a 5-10 minute drive, you have access to shops and restaurants. We provide towels, extra blankets and pillows, beach towels (summer months), toiletries, and of course, snacks! Private room (access to a room divider to separate beds from sitting area if needed) Shared bathroom depending on time of year ( bathroom is on another level and requires using stairs) Kitchen All outside amenities We respect our guests’ privacy, but always enjoy getting to know them! We are adjacent to a park and within minutes of historic downtown Sykesville and Ellicott City. There is no public transportation. Traveling by personal auto is the best option. For recreational purposes, the area is perfect for walking or biking. We love animals; our "family" includes several furry friends, 4 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs are confined for our guests' convenience. We welcome travelers with a pet but require specifics in advance.
