Casa de Christine~Tucker Special (Private Room)

I previously rented the three spare bedrooms with shared living. I’m currently renting only two rooms at a time. I have been vaccinated. I have an inside/outside cat and often my son’s miniature Dachshund; they do not have access to the rooms I rent. The rooms do not have a private entrance or private bathroom. ALL THE COMMON AREAS ARE SHARED WITH ME. This home has plenty of charm and space for a night, weekend or extended vacation. This room and mine are located on the second floor. There is a large foyer with seating, a living room, dining room, kitchen and two bathrooms; all shared with me and other guests. The yard has numerous fruit trees, a fire pit, herb beds and plenty of room for outdoor activities or lounging in a variety of seating areas. The Tucker Special has a queen bed and is located close to the stairs with a view behind the house. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub/shower and the downstairs bathroom has a shower. Additionally, there is a large yard and decking with seating to accommodate numerous people. The living spaces inside and outside are shared; kitchen, dining and living areas, outside seating as well as the bathrooms. Jack is and inside/outside cats who prefers to be outside in good weather and does not have access to the private rooms. While I have previously rented the entire home, I am currently only renting two rooms at a time; they do not have a separate entrance or private bathroom. I engage in friendly interaction with guests while respecting their individual space. The most important thing about this place is the community. It's a quiet neighborhood with great neighbors and cows right beyond the backyard fence. There is a library, playground and outdoor basketball court at the elementary school less than a block from my home. My home is near the birthplace of Pearl S. Buck, directly off Route 219; the main road in Pocahontas County. There is plenty of parking on the property. The area lacks public transportation, but this house provides easy travel access to everything the county has to offer. This charming house, the local culture and surrounding mountains are one of a kind. Sharing the house with me offers a unique experience you wouldn't get in a hotel or condominium. This area has a strong sense of community and this house will reflect that within. I keep the house clean and orderly but lived in.
