Chic In the City!

Located on the main thoroughfare into the heart of Montpelier. This cozy gem is just a 3 min. walk to the Hunger Mt Co Op and the Bike Path, 2 bikes available. Don't miss the Bar Hill Distillery-5 min. walk! Well behaved dogs permitted,$50 fee. Older home so stairs are steep, not for everyone. Our charming little home is very special, decorated with love! The location is close to downtown and a short walk to the Hunger Mt Co Op for delicious and healthy food. There is a bike and walking trail across the street from Chic. It is an older home, so it is very close to the road and the stairs are steep, but with a hand rail. There is one private bedroom upstairs and another room adjacent to the bedroom that you walk thru to get to the stairs, this second room has no door - so not a private room. Chic is pretty small, maybe ideal for a couple or very close family/friends. We are around the corner and available for assistance in any way, yet offer full privacy. The entire home is yours! We tend to give full privacy, but please do call on us if you need us for anything. If using the fire pit, please be sure to put out the fire with water and then cover the pit with the tin cover for safety, fire should be out by 11, we sometimes have wood nearby but you can also purchase a bundle that burns well at most gas stations down the road. Barr Hill is a fun local spot that we recommend walking to from Chic by taking the bike path across the way. Chic in the City is a stand alone home, which offers complete privacy. It is located on Barre Street which tends to be a bit fast, so please do leash your pet if you are bringing one. The Link can be picked up not far from Chic in the City, located at Shaws in downtown. The Link is Public Transportation to Burlington. When you arrive there is a lockbox located on the door which holds the house key. The key to the shed is inside of Chic, yet we tend to leave the padlock on the shed open - there you will find two bikes to enjoy, we don't offer helmets.
