Black Dog Woodland Suite

The Woodland Suite is located on our 10 acre property on Spooner Lake. The Suite is a ground level apartment (300 sf) that is part of our garage/guest building. The views are of tamarack marsh, pine and oak woods, and the lake. It is a three room retreat for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids, and dogs. The Suite is not a good fit for four (4) adults. The Woodland Suite is a ground level apartment (300sf) on the North end of our garage/guest building (left side when facing the garage). Access by keycode lock. The kitchenette includes a microwave oven, Cuisinart hotplate, fridge/freezer, electric coffee maker and cooking gear. Weber kettle grill outside. The Suite has two rooms plus a full bath. If you wish to have more space, search on "Black Dog Lakeview Loft"., which is double the size of the Woodland Suite. Families/groups can book both the Woodland Suite and our upper level Knotty Pine Loft, to sleep up to 6-8 guests and have two 2 baths, full kitchen and dining table seating 6. A crib and high chair are available. We are at the property 2-3x per month. Usually we are there Thursday PM through Sunday PM. We can make special arrangements to meet guests and/or can provide access instructions. Washburn County has lots to offer throughout the seasons. Festivals, fishing and biking, ATV and winter cross-country ski trails, restaurants, antique shops, tasting rooms, etc. Walkers are asked to stay off posted property. Use the gravel road. We follow Superhost Protocols for cleaning and sanitizing. Garbage needs to go into the bin provided. We don't want to attract bears or raccoons! Please use a garbage bag in the garbage bin. Please recycle cans, bottles, newspaper. No Smoking or Vaping inside or outdoor. We are on a septic system - flush toilet paper only, no grease or oil down the sink drain. No bleach, chemicals, medicine, male or female hygiene products, or coffee grounds should go down the drain.
