Namur Cottage on quiet lake

A great place to get away from the city and work from home. Warm and cozy in the winter with a wood stove. In July and August we rent for the ENTIRE WEEK, from FRIDAY TO FRIDAY . Dogs are welcome (maximum of 2). 45 minutes to Mont Tremblant and 20 minutes to Montagne Noir in Ripon and Montebello(Parc Omega) In the small town of Namur. Close to the lake, sandy gradual entry beach, 3 acres of land, large country kitchen, family friendly. Chill vibe. Lots of wood and a super country feel. This place turns on the "relax" button. All parts except basement. Week long rentals have access to the basement for washing machine. I am just a phone call away if you have any questions about the house. This is a small town with a small town vibe. There are two great kid's parks right in the middle of town. Parc Omega and Chateau Montebello are 20 minutes away, Tremblant is 35 minutes (45 mins to the ski hill and 40 mins to Mont Blanc ski hill) and Lac Simon is 15 minutes...but chilling by the lake is the best! On occasion you will see the neighbours down at the beach but most of the time you have the place all to yourselves. There is a farmer's market Friday nights in Ripon, Rodeo in July in St-Andre-d'Avelin, and a Belgium festival in Namur in August every few years. Chateau Montebello is a great place to visit and also offers quite a few activities. You need a car, cause this is the country. We are by the country rural route (120 feet away), but the back of the house looks on to the lake and that is where you will spend your time. Take a wander down to the lake. There is an outside eating area, a small screen porch and a BBQ to enjoy your lake life. Wear your sandals on the deck to avoid getting splinters. The beach is sandy with little or no lake weeds. Great for gradual entry swimming and super for kids.
