Enjoy our quiet home in the woods, contemporary design and large windows with abundant natural light. Hiking the Wapack Trail is a half mile away. Experience the culture, outdoor activities, shopping and dining within a ten to fifteen-minute drive to Peterborough and Jaffrey. We are accepting reservations from people 12 years of age and older that are fully vaccinated. Vaccination cards are required at checkin for each guest. Exceptions not allowed. Choose from two private bedrooms in a lovely home with one full bathroom dedicated to our guests and a shared powder room on the first floor. Continental breakfast is served in the library, and the media room with surround sound is available for watching films or television. All channels are available. Free Wifi is included for guests who wish to connect their devices. Continental breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am in the Library. Choices include cereal, yogurt, whole wheat bread with butter and jams and a rotation of either scones, bagels, croissants or pastries. Beverages include coffee, tea, and juice. Mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle are available. Hike Mount Monadnock in Jaffrey New Hampshire, the second most climbed mountain in the world. The Monadnock State Park is eleven miles away, a twenty-minute drive. Guests have access to the Library/Breakfast room and Media room between 7 am and 11 pm. My husband and I are available to guests and on site 95% of the time. We are quiet people who work from home in other rooms of the house. Sharon is a lovely rural community where neighbors respect one another's rights and privacy. Rules of the Town of Sharon Zoning Board: - Hiking on this property or adjacent properties is not allowed. - Music and electric media must be kept at an acceptable volume that will not disturb the neighbors. Guests will need their own transportation. There are no taxis, Uber, Lyft or public transportation in Sharon and surrounding towns. We have one Maine Coon cat. She is not allowed in the Library/Breakfast room. We ask that you keep the doors to the guest bedrooms and guest bathroom shut to keep her out of your spaces. She is allowed into the media room. At night we keep her in our bedroom.
