My place is close to Hydro, Mosport and the 401. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Very close to good restaurants, shopping, nature trails, waterfront trail, and the quaint main street of Bowmanville. This is a very safe, friendly, and quiet neighbourhood. I can help with any information you require to explore this lovely area including local attractions, places to eat, hike, cycle, or explore. It is my pleasure to meet and help guests in my home. This established neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly. There is a beautiful paved nature trail a few meters from my home that winds it's way along the Bowmanville creek and takes you directly to the main street of town. There are a number of very reasonable restaurants and pubs nearby including a micro-brewery. My home is a short drive or cycle from Lake Ontario and the waterfront trail system. In the summer and fall there are also a number of farm markets in the area where fresh, local produce is available. There is also a local winery that specializes in award winning apple wines. This is also a pick-your-own apple orchard and bake/gift shop. There is also an old mill with a beautiful walking trail that sells organic food products and gluten-free food products. This is a beautiful area, rich in history and celebrating it's rural farming roots but, at the same time continuously modernizing and looking to the future. There is GO bus service available close by and my home is close to the 401 highway at the Waverly Rd. / Durham Road 57 interchange. (Exit 431). I have space available in my driveway for parking and can provide locked and secure storage for bicycles in my garage.
