Great spot for fishing, bird and animal watching (pike, bass, loons, herons, turtles and many more) La boutique du Sommet farm is 5 min away where you can pick organic veggies in the summer and go cross country skiing in the winter Mont St Marie is 45 min away for skiing and golf, 7 min from Club de Algonquin Only 10 min from town of Maniwaki, where you can find Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, giant tiger, metro and maxi grocery stores. There are some amazing trails and sites to see. Check out the great trail bike path (10 min away, just off of Farley) Les chutes rouge (30 min away) and parc regional du Mont Morissette with the amazing lookout tower 😍(20 min drive away) To get around the area you will need a car and there are many ways to access trails by bike. The lake house is on a septic system so please be mindful of this. Please do not flush after every use and use the trash can to dispose of any toilet paper, diapers,sanitary pads etc. Thank you! Also, the basement where the third bed is located has a low ceiling. Perfect for sleeping.
