“Cabana by the Bay”-tiny home on a pier!

This tiny home is a newly renovated cabana sitting on a pier. Fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing under you! Solomons is a quaint island located a little over an hour from both Washington DC and Annapolis. Enjoy shared use of our private beach and pier, kayaks and bikes. Go crabbing or fishing off the pier and walk to some of the local establishments like Island Hideaway or CD Cafe for a delicious seafood dinner. Prepare to be awed by the gorgeous sunsets! The Cabana is sitting on the pier and has panoramic windows. Please note, our family lives nearby and we also use the beach and pier, so that part of it is shared. Be sure to close your blinds when you want privacy. There is a tiny kitchen with a Mini fridge, a microwave and microwave oven, and a 2 burner hot plate. The couch pulls out into a full sized, relatively comfortable bed. There are both an indoor and outdoor hot water shower. We have a rooftop deck with a large outdoor table that we would be more then happy to share with you upon request. We are always available to you if you have needs. If you would like me to text you anytime we will be down on the beach please let me know! We love to swim, paddle board, go boating and crabbing with our daughter. Let us know if you’d like to go out on the boat and we will take you for a ride if possible! I can also show you how to catch and cook the best crabs of your life! Within walking distance: Enjoy live music at Solomons Pier, Sunday brunch with piano bar at Charles Street Brasserie, participate in a cooking class at No Thyme to Cook, rent jet skis or go fishing at Bunky’s Charter Boats, grab an ice cream cone after a stroll on the boardwalk. A short drive away: Enjoy all DC has to offer, including free museums, a tour of the White House, diverse cuisine in Chinatown, and so much more! Visit historic Annapolis, find sharks teeth on your hike to the beach at Calvert Cliffs, go to a concert or gamble at MGM National Harbor. If you only want to explore the tiny island a bike is fine. You need a car to get anywhere else! **Covid 19 new practice** In order to best keep you safe, as well as myself while cleaning, we will now be asking guests to provide their own bedding and pillows. The pull out sofa fits full or queen sheets. If you are traveling from far away and this is a problem for you, please let me know and I am willing to provide exceptions when needed.
