Charming rustic studio for nature lover

This light & airy studio is on a 2 acre lot separate and private from our house. It is in a safe neighborhood 15-20 minutes to Athens. There is a cozy private back porch. A mini-farm with roosters is next door! It has a comfortable queen bed, a full bath, internet, TV & Apple TV box and kitchen nook equipped with a sink, hotplate, microwave and small frig (no full stove or grill). Ceiling fans throughout, and a quiet mini-split for heat & A/C . A wood stove for winter warmth and coziness too! This is a unique and lovely, wood paneled cabin in a safe, environmental and fairly high end rural neighborhood. It has quality construction, fixtures and appointments and is 400 sq ft. It is separate from our house and offers plenty of privacy. We are 7 miles from center of town, about a 20 minute car ride, so you can see the stars and hear the birds! The cabin accommodates 2 people (queen size bed). Enjoy a stay of 2-7 days. There is a lot of light with large southern windows as well as windows all around. A private back deck overlooks a small pasture and woods. This back view is very private and surrounded by nature. It is within a one acre fenced yard and is often guarded by our lovely female Weimaraner who adores being rewarded for her hard work :) Next door is a mini two acre farm with chickens and roosters. You will enjoy the peace and quiet (with roosters) of a country setting but with easy access to downtown. It is 4 miles to the outskirts of town and 7 miles to the center. It has wireless internet, WC with shower, kitchen nook with sink, dorm size refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, electrical plate & microwave (no full size stove), small flat screen T.V. with DVD player (no cable), Apple TV box for streaming Netflix , Amazon Prime, etc. and a comfortable queen bed. The studio is heated and cooled by a mini split. It has a wood stove as an option for those who like extra heat and/or romance. Wood is provided. It is also has three ceiling fans for extra air circulation. Coffee, tea, filtered water , breakfast bars and popcorn snacks are provided. Athens is known for its music & arts scene, the University of Georgia & its football team (go dawgs!) Four miles from our house is a grouping of amenities including gas station and Sr. Sol (one of Athens best Mexican restaurant). The yard surrounding the cabin. I try to meet my guests at least once but often do not see them much as the studio is completely separate and private. Guests are always welcome to stop by the house for a visit! This is a nature community and we tuck the houses out of sight of the road. We also have no street lights to keep the night sky as visible as possible. We have a small parking lot. Please let us know if you are bringing more than 1 car. Unfortunately public transit does not come out this far but Uber will. The neighborhood has no streets lights so at night it is dark. I have some solar lights along the paths but a flashlight or cell phone is a handy thing.
