Silverbrook Farm Bed and Breakfast

Silverbrook Farm lies nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the picturesque Short Hill Mountain, offering a lovely vista of rolling countryside. It features a stone, stucco and frame residence, decorated appropriately. The earliest wing of the house was built in the mid 1700′s with additions dating from late 1700′s, the mid 1800′s and 1998. The long front porch, outfitted with rocking chairs, overlooks a meadow, mountains and cattle grazing peacefully. A PASTORAL PARADISE. Our historical home dates from the 1760's with 4 wings. It has been in magazines and on garden and house tours. We invite our guests to enjoy our gardens, our outdoor chess garden, and our woodland area with a treehouse. It is very private and peaceful. We have a lovely chapel if one wants to meditate. Guests have told us it is "the diamond in their tiara.". Imagine your family getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city to a farm with views in all directions, lovely gardens, and room to roam. Even an outdodor chess garden and lawn gamres. Host has private quarters in 4th wing of house. Imagine getting away from it all for a week or month. Rent for one night, several days, one week or one month. Imagine your preparing your Thanksgiving dinner in an 1870s kitchen; eating your Thanksgiving dinner in the 1790s dining room with vintage china and crystal and retiring to 1765 living room for coffee or brandy. All appropriately appointed. Come rent for a week and enjoy the entire property. Nearby, we have some outstanding restaurants, bike trails, hiking, tubing, and are right in the middle of the Loudoun Wine Country. Silverbrook Farm is about one hour from Washington, D.C., situated halfway between Leesburg, Virginia, and Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Dulles Airport is 30 minutes away. Private 3 wings, host lives in 4th wing. We have private parking and Uber service. Leesburg had private airport which is 14 miles from the farm. Bedroom 1 and 2 share a bathroom. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share l/2 bath between, and full bath on the first floor.
