Located only 5 miles from the Hunter mountain base. 4 bedrooms, open plan family space, wood stove and ample space to socialize or privacy. The house is located on a very quiet dead end road on 5 acres surrounded by woods and mountains. We are dog friendly (dogs/owners will be interviewed before approval). The Game room, part of an unfinished basement, includes a pool table and ping pong. Firewood is included - burn as much as you like. The entire house and property are for Guest use. Available via text, email or phone. House caretaker lives next door and is always happy to help. The neighborhood is rural, rustic and very private. The house is nestled in the mountains and surrounded on two sides by state park land. Car is essential. 4wd might be required during winter. The water exhibits a sulfur smell but is otherwise safe for drinking and cooking. Guests may prefer to purchase bottled water for drinking. Long term rentals (longer than 2 weeks) are required to use our cleaning service every 2 weeks.
