Our cozy place is ideal for both the romantic wanderer or for the working businessperson. It sits in the center of Centerville's Historic District amid restaurants and boutiques. You'll have easy and quick access to Dayton, the Air Force base and its terrific museum. I’ve placed a guide to my favorite Wright Brother’s spot - Huffman’s Prairie. You'll enjoy chatting with apple’s HomePod. If your dates are not available please consider our twin Airbnb; Apt 1 is just across the hall. The building itself is very old but the apartment is full of all the modern touches that we can't get along without. The ceilings are 9' high so you don't feel closed in. The living room is equipped with a 4K enabled TV connected to an Apple TV. Siri can controls the lights and will offer advice when asked. She also plays music from her Apple music subscription. A small table doubles as a workspace and the internet speed is > 50 kbps. The kitchen has an oven, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and a Keurig Coffee maker. There's central heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. A laundromat is located off site. The original entry stairs have been reworked to be code compliant. The owner and manager live off site but can be contacted easily and quickly. The queen size bed is so comfortable that a guest bought one for himself! While the kitchen is fully stocked you'll be tempted to sample the eats at The City Barbecue, Graeter's Ice Cream, and a Sweetney’s seafood restaurant. There are also a couple of Pubs within easy walking distance. Guests will have the entire (650 sq. ft) apartment to themselves. The apartment is set up so our guests can let themselves in using the installed electronic locks. Either my property manager or myself will be available for any needed assistance. This cozy apartment is in the center of Centerville's historical district. The city has plans to revitalize the area into "Uptown." Grater's Ice Cream is across the street and next to City Barbecue! Other eateries/shops are located nearby. Bill's Doughnuts (#2 nationally) as well as Dorothy Lane market (upscale market) are just a short distance away. There's a parking lot next to the building. The Dayton Rapid Transit Bus 14 and 23 go by the apartment. Rt 14 will take you north into downtown Dayton and Rt 23 will take you west to the Dayton Mall.
