Our place is a three bedroom, two and one half bathroom townhouse located on the Kanawha River in the town of Bancroft, WV. Nearby attractions include Shawnee Sports Complex, Mardi-Gras Casino, Thomas Memorial Hospital, downtown Charleston, and the WV Power Park! If you are in the area for outdoor recreation, Kanawha State Forest has tons to offer from hiking to biking and all in between. This home has been recently renovated and includes a 6-person dining table, washer and dryer, full kitchen with Keurig and regular coffee makers, memory foam mattresses, large deck overlooking the river, and other small details we added to make your stay the most comfortable possible. Bancroft is located between the larger towns of Nitro WV and Winfield WV. Approximately a 30-minute Drive to Charleston WV. Personal vehicle is best mode of transportation. Two vehicles fit comfortably in the driveway. This is a residential building, and neighbors live here full time. Please treat the neighborhood with respect as if it were your own home. Absolutely no “partying” will be tolerated and if we receive word from neighbors of otherwise you will be asked to leave. Occasionally weather and other factors cause electricity and internet service to go out. Unfortunately these issues are not of our control and we cannot anticipate this happening; no refunds can be given for loss of these amenities.
