Welcome to Tall Pines River Retreat! Our lovely Shenandoah home will warmly welcome you to the valley. Enjoy your waterfront vacation with private access to the Shenandoah River. Swim, kayak, fish, and tube right outside your door! Our home is in the ideal location: 5 minutes from the town of Shenandoah, 20 minutes from Massanutten four-season resort, 25 minutes from the Swift-Run Gap entrance of Shenandoah National Park, and 30-minutes from Harrisonburg and JMU. COVID-19 UPDATE: For those of you considering a reservation at Tall Pines, I would like to assure you that we are taking the following steps to ensure you have a safe environment for your vacation: 1. We will be cleaning between guests with chemical disinfectants on all hard surfaces including door handles and light switches. 2. We will be laundering the entire bedding sets between guests. 3. We will take care to use disinfectant on other soft surfaces around the house including couches and chairs. 4. You will not have to interact with others during your vacation as you can check in using our keypad. --- You’ll love our 6-year-old private river retreat with three bedrooms: one large King with private master bath, and two Queen rooms with full bath. You'll enjoy a massive, gorgeous kitchen with everything you need (from a grill-pan to a standing mixer), a great room with a huge wrap-around couch and floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy our 50-inch wifi-enabled living room TV while you're taking in the river views. Additionally, we have river tubes for you to enjoy when the weather is warm, several blow-up floats, and a house-long back deck with a hot tub (new in 2021), a fire pit and Adirondack chairs, and a hammock overlooking the river. Our house also has a private dock and entryway into the river for swimming, wading, or fishing. Bring your canoe or kayak and paddle right from our house! Enjoy total riverfront bliss with access to the best the valley has to offer. Guests have access to the entire house. Shipwreck farms is a beautiful, private community in Page County, Virginia. The neighborhood has the best parts of the country - from beautiful mountainous views, horses and cattle and access to the Shenandoah River. The town of Shenandoah, VA is the perfect four-season getaway. Massanutten resort is only 20 minutes away and offers skiing, snow tubing, go-karting, and an indoor waterpark. Shenandoah National Park is a 25-minute drive providing endless trails and wildlife. There are countless wineries and breweries within a 30-minute drive, as well as unique activities such as Luray Caverns, a Lavender farm, and pick-your-own orchards. And, the Shenandoah River runs right through the town with opportunities for swimming, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and more.
