The Western Cabin along the Watauga River at Meredith Valley Farm is a peaceful getaway that hosts guests on a 145 acre working farm of cattle, horses, and wildlife. Guests are greeted to an open living space with a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms with back porch rocking chairs perfect for breakfast views of the Watauga River. There are several areas on the river for fishing! There is also a firepit! The Meredith Valley Farm and Cabins staff is available day and night with flexible office hours for arrival and departure times. Within 5 minutes of historical downtown Elizabethton, Meredith Valley Farm and Cabins sit across the river from Sycamore Shoals State Park. Fishermen frequent the trophy trout Watauga River and South Holston Lake. Local attractions include Roan Mountain State Park, Bristol Motor Speedway, ETSU and Milligan College. Downtown shopping features antique malls, quaint coffee shops, eateries and breweries. Elizabethton is home to the historic Tweetsie Trail for avid cyclists and Appalachian Trail Hikers. Tri-Cities Regional Airport is within 30 minutes.
