Private Flat: 1 Bedroom/ 1 Bathroom/ Full Kitchen

This is a 2 family house located in a very quiet NJ suburb. It's an 8-minute walk to the local train station for easy access to NYC. We live in the main house and the private flat with your own digital keypad entrance is all yours! ;) Please note: You'll need to walk up a total of 19 steps. Please keep this in mind when booking, as this is the only way to access the flat. We've included our floor plan, located in the photos section, so you can see the exact layout prior to booking. The private flat includes a queen size Zinus Memory Foam 12 Inch Green Tea Mattress, clean linens, full-size dresser, closet, & blackout shades for sleeping in late. Full-size kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, dishes, single serve pod coffee maker, french press, and tea kettle. All seasons room has a Sharp smart tv, electric fireplace, loveseat (which converts to a twin size pull out sofa sleeper bed). The bathroom has a shower stall, fresh towels, soap, shampoo, & conditioner. If you have an Amazon account, they will deliver groceries to your door from Whole Foods. We live in the main house and are available to meet, greet, and assist with any questions or issues. You may find us in the yard gardening on a nice sunny day or shoveling snow on a really cold day! We respect your privacy and space. Hawthorne is a quiet suburb. The proximity to NJ transit and major highways are benefits to staying here. If traveling from another state or country, you can get around without a rental car. It's a 5 minute/3 block walk to Goffle Brook Park. A 103-acre public park that features picnic areas, playgrounds, fields for sledding, a dog park, fitness equipment, and multiple athletic fields. We’re also 3 miles away from William Paterson University. There’s plenty of street parking. However, if you plan to have your car on the street between 9-10am Monday- Friday, we ask that you use our driveway during this time to avoid a parking ticket. The town is strict on street parking, so neighboring towns with commuters to NYC don’t fill up our streets. There are no restrictions on weekend street parking. A 8 minute/3 block walk to the train station, which can take you directly into NYC. Travel times via train are: to Hoboken, NJ 41 mins - $15 round trip to Time Square/Midtown, NY 1 hour -$17 round trip to Ridgewood, NJ 8 mins - $4.50 round trip to Philadelphia, PA 2 hours 21 mins to/from Newark International Airport 1 hour 11 mins - $26 round trip Travel times via car/rideshare are: to Newark International Airport 34 mins to MetLife stadium 21 mins to American Dream 21 mins to Prudential Center 34 mins The all seasons room includes a Sharp smart tv and Roku for you to connect to your own online streaming media accounts.
