Stone patio in a lovely fenced in rear yard. This private second floor apartment is an addition located on the rear of our Historic Greek Revival Italianate House. The apartment is filled with lots of light. It is a 1 bedroom studio apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a tub/shower as well as a washer/dryer unit for your convenience. The apartment has a tv, wireless internet. The bedroom and living room areas have ceiling fans as well as a window unit AC during the warmer months. There is a supplemental gas wall hung heater in the bedroom for added comfort when needed. The rear yard is fenced in and a great place to relax when the weather is nice. The best part of this house is that we have an extraordinary rear year that offers something more like a retreat in the middle of the city. The whole experience of this apartment is quiet, peaceful and extremely convenient to Wesleyan and other Middletown area activities. We offer a private guest experience in which guests can come an go independently while also being available when needed. Wesleyan University is one walking block away and often offers great music, film, theater, dance and other interesting events. There are over 40 full service restaurants on Main St and many outstanding coffee shops, craft breweries, clothing, jewelry, florist and art boutiques and a movie theater all within walking distances from the house. There are multi-denominational churches and temples nearby, most within walking distance. This apartment is across the street from the public library which is extraordinary. The apartment offers one off street parking space. This a mostly an easy walking community. Our city is also very bike friendly and easy to negotiate with your own personal vehicle. There is ample public/metered parking on the city streets. There is a city bus system on Main Street. There is a taxi service within town as well as many guests use services such as uber and lift.
