Modern Farmhouse located in historic downtown Galax. Our home is 1/2 mile to the Galax entry of the New River Trail. We are within walking distance to local shopping and Felts Park, home of the worlds largest Old Fiddlers Convention. Also, Mule Hell Soaps, The Rex Theater, School of the Arts, Antiques, Cafe & Coffee Shops, and BBQ are only a few blocks away. Bicycles available upon request. You will enjoy 825 sq feet of coziness on the main floor of our newly remodeled 1934 home. The second floor is blocked off for storage. This home is not shared with other guests or the owners. The bathroom features a full size walk in shower and a washer & dryer available for your use. The bedroom shows the true rustic charm of this old house. An “open closet” concept provides plenty of room for your personal belongings. The queen bed is very comfortable and is dressed with fresh linens, a 2” thick mattress topper and plenty of comfy pillows. Just off the dining room, French doors open to deck & hot tub for a quiet relaxing evening. Or, there's nothing like sitting on the wrap-around porch while sipping on a sweet iced tea!
