Nature Lover's Hideout Old oaks shade this one bedroom, 2nd story garage apartment high on charm. To us, this place is magic. Built in the early 1900’s, it maintains its vintage summer home feel. We'd like to share with you the snowy egrets, blue herons, and other wildlife that make their home on the spring fed lakes Tombeau and Benedict. Wild, green growth surrounds the lake, and on clear nights the milky way shimmers overhead. Peace and tranquility, but only 15 minutes from Lake Geneva. You will stay in the coach house, a separate building from our home. It sits down the hill from us, and next to Lake Tombeau. A sky light illuminates an open floor plan living and kitchen space, complete with full-sized refrigerator, oven, stove top, dining table and microwave. We also provide you with basic coffee pot, grinder, toaster oven, pots, pans, utensils, silverware and plates. In the living area, you can sip coffee in the sitting area, watch tv on Chromecast or movies on the DVD player. Guests three and four can sleep on full size futon mattress. Listen for the owls and coyotes on the small balcony while the tree frogs sing through the night. Separate bathroom (shower stall only) and a private bedroom with a full bed. Walk up one flight of stairs to access the apartment. Nippersink resort area. Lake Tombeau is a wetlands area with boating access. People as well as animals make their home around this lake. There is plenty of nature, but you are not isolated. No stores are accessible by walking. Lake is a few feet away. 15 minutes to Lake Geneva by car. 10 minutes to Twin Lakes. Lake Geneva has a nice grocery store, big box stores and a downtown with lots of independent retailers. Twin Lakes is good for small items that you may have forgotten.
