Beautiful, 4,000 sq ft, newly refurbished home on the east side of Owasco Lake, with 160 ft of direct lake frontage. Enjoy watching the sunset from your own private beach; swim, paddle or kayak direct from the property. This stunning home can sleep up to 14 people and is the perfect spot for a family reunion or gathering, whatever the season! For June, July & August we have a one week minimum. This spacious home, located in a quiet lakeside location, offers the perfect getaway for a large group or family. As well as a beautiful level lot, with direct lake access, the home also offers plenty of spaces for people to get away from the group, watch TV, or relax while taking in the amazing views. A bonus/games room with custom built in bunk beds, offering 2 double and 2 twin beds is a perfect retreat for the kids to watch a move or play games. A separate laundry room, accessible from outside, includes a brand new washer and dryer. Guests can also use the two kayaks, to escape from it all! You'll have the whole house to yourselves. We will leave you to enjoy your stay in peace, but are close by if you need anything. Burtis Point is a small private road, with a real community feel. Many families have called it home for generations, and it's easily the best spot on Owasco Lake, with level lots, easy swimming and boating right off your lot, and beautiful sunset views. There is parking for several cars on the private driveway, and a double garage. It takes 10-15 minutes to get into downtown Auburn, where there's a Wegmans grocery store, great restaurants and a good selection of stores. Skaneateles, 15 minutes away, is a cute town with boutique shopping, dining and frequent events. A guidebook in the house will tell you more about all the Finger Lakes region has to offer, including which wineries not to miss on your visit! A single, well-behaved dog will be considered, but there would be an additional $150 cleaning fee added. Please let us know at the time of your inquiry if you are planning on bringing a dog.
