While feeling like you are high above the rolling hills, away from the hustle of city life, it's a quick four mile drive into Dundee. This home is an ideal location for a wine tasting vacation, quiet retreat, or meeting space for eight. After a day of experiencing the delights of Oregon wine return to this comfortable home for an evening in the courtyard stargazing. About The Space This unique 2,600 square foot house is centered around a courtyard, with a deck leading out from the dining room to a view of the Dundee hills. The house is appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable new furnishing, and luxurious linens. A second living room, opposite the bedroom wing, offers a place to watch movies, nap, or lounge on the sofa with a good book. The house sits on five acres of mostly Douglas fir trees with a petite lawn on the side of the house (larger lawn area recently planted, not yet grown in). The kitchen is ready for you to enjoy a home prepared meal. Grocery delivery services is also available so that you can arrive with the fridge stocked and avoid spending your vacation time at the store. We also offer a la carte or package pampering services, such as on-site massage, cooking, wellness, and meditation classes. The large dining room is a bright open room that can serve as meeting space or lively dinner party for up to eight people. Daily or hourly rental is available. Perhaps best of all the guest house in the center of the Dundee Hills AVA with several tasting rooms in walking distance and dozens more a short drive. Some of the nearby wineries are: Lange ~ 1 mile, Alexana, Erath, Bella Vida, Arterberry Maresh, and Winderlea ~ 2 miles, and Furioso and Domaine Roy & fils are ~ 3 miles. The scenery is breathtaking with the town of Dundee, a ten minute drive, filled with award winning restaurants, tasting rooms, and coffee shops. Other things to note - There is a Roku TV with Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, and (limited) Roku channels. There is no access to over the air, cable, satellite, or premium channels. While the house is not setup for younger children, if you would like more details on the setup to determine if this is a good fit, please send us a message. Here are a few of the concerns: the flooring is tile throughout with a few area rugs, making it a hard landing for young children/toddlers, there is a glass coffee table with metal corners, the sofas in the room with the television are a light beige/white, there are breakable decorations at floor level and some within easy reaching distance, the dining room isn't suitable for use as a place to enjoy coloring, play dough, or toys that could scratch it, etc..., the beds have plush mattress and are quite high off the ground (tile flooring below), and in general, there is no child proofing and the house is setup for adults. Absolutely NO SMOKING, including marijuana, anywhere (inside or outside) on the property. NO EXCEPTIONS.
