MIDDLETOWN CT PRIVATE APT - WALK TO WESLEYAN U

We are located within the Wesleyan Campus area and offer a "sanctuary in the city" environment suitable for a retired adult or virtual professional who appreciates a quiet, peaceful space. This is aoe week or longer rental due to COVID 19 & you will be required to be fully vaccinated and to follow all of CT's laws regarding safety during the pandemic. No guests or visitors allowed on property. Please read fully "Additional Rules" under Policies & Rules and "Other Details to Note" below. Our place is great for social distancing adults looking for a quiet, restful Covid-safe environment . Both myself and my husband are on premises 24/7, normally providing spiritual and meditative therapies to the community from our home offices, which are in private places on the property that are separate from the rental unit. We are both at-risk individuals, but are fully vaccinated & we are looking for someone who appreciates and is willing to follow masking requirements when in the common areas. Guests have private use of the entire apartment and are welcome to use the yard and patio dining area. Masked Interaction as guests have need; otherwise limited to phone & email interaction. We live on the first floor and if there are any problems with check-in and you can't reach us by the phone or email provided, you are welcome to come to the front door and ring the bell, but please wear your mask. We are a three-minute walk to Wesleyan University and a five minute walk to downtown. We have a very diverse and transient neighborhood that is normally relatively quiet; we are on what is considered the "quiet side of campus", but a stone's throw away from the arts, recreation and activities offered by the college. Skiing in Middlefield is just the next town over and we are 30 minutes from CT's southeast coastline. Several state parks are within 10 to 30 minutes and include Wadsworth, Hurd, Machimoodus and Hammonasset. Goodspeed Opera House on the CT River is just 25 minutes away and we are centrally located between both Hartford and New Haven, which are 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Drive, bike, public transportation, walk. Masks are REQUIRED IN CT in any indoor facility or retailer and in outdoor spaces when you are not able to distance from others by 6 feet or more. COVID Compliance cleaning will be performed before your arrival and after your departure, but you are required to keep the space in clean and disinfected condition during your stay. Masks are to be worn on the property when exiting your apartment, in particular in the hallways and upon entering the building. Hand disinfectant will be left at the entryway doorway. Any meal deliveries will need to be received by you personally STREETSIDE. No deliveries on the property or to our private front door. Cooking utensils and full kitchen set-ups are provided for meal prep for guests staying two weeks or longer. Due to health, sensitivity and access ssues, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE SERVICE ANIMALS.
