Welcome to Schear House on the Beach! For years our family has been coming to Waldport to play on the beach, fish, crab, birdwatch, kayak, hike old-growth forests and take in the sunset views from our semi-private beach. We are Oregon Coast enthusiasts, and we can't wait to share our home with your family. We have outfitted our beach home with every possible thing we could think of for a fun-filled family vacation or even a romantic getaway for two! We have a fully stocked chef's kitchen with everything you will need to whip up a feast. If we haven't thought of it and you do, please let us know! We also have beach toys, Spike Ball, Volleyball, tennis rackets and kayaks. We have beach towels and lots of spices and kitchen staples to get you going. Our home sits directly on the beach with beautiful views. Seal Rock, South to Cape Perpetua, East to Alsea bridge, and West to China... one of our favorite pastimes is watching the eagles land on the beach in the spring and whale watching from our living room through binoculars we provide. Do you like to crab? We have crab pots and even a large pot to cook your catch in while enjoying the views of the beach and the bay. Want to roast hot dogs and marshmallows on the beach? We have what you need for that as well. Have we mentioned how immaculate our home is? Clean is very important to us as we are avid travelers ourselves. There is nothing we hate more than old pillows, dirty duvets, and dirty pots and pans. Over the years Schrear House has built a following of guests who return every year with their families. This is our highest form of compliment and we welcome our guests back with great enthusiasm.
