Our Bourbon & Horse themed Guesthouse is near I-64 & the Bluegrass Pkwy off 127. Minutes to over 5 major distilleries: Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve, Castle and Key. Historic Frankfort: Homes & Museums, Beautiful State Capitol & Gov.'s Mansion are a 15 min. drive. More Activities: Juniper Hill Water Park, Keeneland, KY Horse Park, Canoe KY, KY History Center, Big Red Stables. 45 minutes to Louisville & 30 minutes to Lexington Airports, The Kentucky Derby & UK Games. Vintage Bourbon Barrel Furniture, Full kitchen, Queen bedroom with private outdoor deck, patio furniture/umbrella in the country. Step out, see the starry sky, and hear the crickets buzzing. Bedroom 2 is upstairs with two twin beds and a comfy euro-double futon if needed. Feel free to bring your groceries and stay a while. There is a gas grill for your use. Enjoy the big Roku TV W/DVD player & movies or play board games & work on a puzzle. Open the windows for some country air while you sleep! You'll have the whole cottage to yourself. We'd love to hand you the key and meet you upon your arrival if available~ if not, we'll leave the door open. We live in the big house across the driveway if you forget your toothbrush. Please park on the RV pad (not the circle) after unloading, without blocking the garages. Besides tourist information, menu's, and maps in the cottage, we're available to help you plan your itinerary. Oh- and did I mention Carla speaks ITALIAN? Benvenuti! Just over the Anderson County line from Frankfort, we enjoy the country life with city amenities just five miles away. You can hear sheep and cows, the howling coyotes and see deer coming out to graze...behind us is horse pasture and stables. Roosters crow in the morning and the sun comes up on a new day.... We are less than five miles away from Frankfort or Lawrenceburg. Both offer shopping, conveniences, and restaurants. Frankfort offers a free seasonal trolley ride to tour the city or get off and back on at main tourist locations. Travelling in an RV or have a trailer?
