Hornby island beach front cottage

Ocean front cottage on Hornby Island Built in the 70s recently updated with all amenities . Very private location yet close to popular Whaling station bay and Tribune bay beach. Helliwell park is close as well. There is a gravel beach right in front of the cottage with a fire pit usable in non summer months. great views of the Salish sea and sea life. You can watch cruise ships go by between may and September Sleeps up to 6 guests 2 bedrooms upstairs one single bed downstairs 1 full spacious bathroom downstairs half bath upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped with oven stove fridge microwave dishwasher coffee maker pots and pans. A bbq is also provided. Hornby being an island has limited water resources. During dry summer months some well do run out. We are on our own well and septic .Our well water is tested yearly but due to high iron and mineral content it may affect some people. Our water is filtered and sanitized with a uv light. If you are at all sensitive we recommend buying bottled water There are steep stairs to the upstairs please consider this if you have small children
