This is our largest bedroom, great for extended stays, and perfect for anyone visiting Ball State, the hospital, or attending cultural events in Muncie. You will have a comfy queen size bed, dresser, large closet, desk w/ chair, and PRIVATE bathroom with shower. The room is on the second floor. Off-street parking. The refreshment area includes an assortment of beverages and breakfast bars. Our home is just two blocks from the Ball State campus. Early check-in possible, depending on our schedules This is a large master bedroom with PRIVATE bathroom. There is a chain lock on the door. Just a block from the Ball State campus and just a few blocks from Ball Memorial Hospital. Perfect for longer stays. There is a desk and chair, great for the business traveler or student. High speed internet included. A futon is also in the room, which serves as a couch or that can be converted into a bed for a third guest. We provide a remote controlled fan and plenty of extra blankets and fluffy towels. All windows have blackout curtains. We have private, off-street parking. Our goal is to make you feel like a member of the family. Relax in our living room. Curl up with a book from our extensive library or play a board game in dining room while enjoying a cup of hot tea or coffee. The refreshment center is located in the alcove on the second floor, just steps from your room. We keep a variety of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, and ciders next to the Keurig. A variety of juices and sodas are located in the fridge, along with bottled water. Extended stays are welcome. If need, we can provide you with an ironing board and iron. We will greet you upon arrival and introduce you to our historic home and to ensure a comfortable stay. Guest room is on the second floor. You will have access to our living room/library, and dining room. You will receive a key upon arrival and can come and go as your please. We will greet you upon arrival to introduce you to our lovely home. We live there but most of the public and private areas are separate. We will sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with your you like or leave you alone. This is your stay and we want you to enjoy yourself. We both work at the university but we do try to have homemade cookies waiting for you upon arrival. We keep our two cats, Salvador and Chole, also live with us and serve as co-hosts! They are VERY friendly. Our home is in the historic Westwood neighborhood, adjacent to the Ball State campus. Minnetrista and downtown Muncie are just minutes away. There are paved sidewalks and bike lanes leading to the Greenway, perfect for walking, running, or biking. The Village, home to several restaurants and coffee shops, is about a 10 minute walk. The Ball State Campus is just a block away. Emens Auditorium only two short blocks. Lots of sidewalks. City bus stop is just a block away, if needed. Lyft and Uber also operate in town. Bring your bikes and enjoy the Cardinal Greenway. Our home is nearly one hundred years old and is one of the original homes in the area. We look forward to sharing our home with you. A Keurig coffee maker is provided in the reception area, along with an assortment of coffees, teas, and hot coco. There is also a small refrigerator stocked with juices, sodas, and bottled water. We do have two cats who are very friendly. Depending on our work schedule, you may be greeted with warm cookies in the evening. We both work on campus, hence the 6 pm check in time Monday-Friday. If you are arriving on the weekend, please let us know your plans and we will do our best to accommodate an early afternoon check in. We can accommodate a third adult, if needed. They would sleep on a futon in the same room. We have off street parking.
