A quiet country cabin located only 5 miles from town, makes this the perfect get away for true R&R away from the hustle and bustle of town, but a close drive to everything this valley has to offer. If you love a mountain view and want to experience a quiet relaxing stay in a country home, Trapper's Country Cabin is the rental for you. Enjoy a fire table in the yard to sit around in the evening or early morning drinking your coffee. The cabin is kept VERY CLEAN, and you can expect completely fresh bedding and towels. The cabin has 2 bedrooms (one queen, one double) and 1 bathroom as well as a queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress in the living area. It is suitable for 1 or 2 couples or a family of 5 (max 4 adults). There is a well stocked kitchen, a small barbecue grill, a tv with blu-ray dvd play (no satellite or cable), games, and puzzles for the kids, and everything you need to feel comfortable. This property is a place to "unplug" a little as we don't offer WiFi, and cell phone service is spotty (Verizon works the best). There is a telephone for local calls. Enjoy Ski Sunlight, Rifle Mountain Park for all your hiking and rock climbing adventures, Rifle Falls in all its beauty, hike to world famous Hanging Lake in Glenwood Canyon, after a day of fun, soak in one of Glenwood Springs' natural hot springs, or have a fun day at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park with thrilling rides and fun cave tours. All within less than an hour (most less than half an hour) away from the cottage. Other attractions nearby include Colorado River rafting, fishing, or take a day and enjoy the Lakota Canyon Ranch golfing or outdoor swimming pool.
