Stunning, newly renovated 4 season lakefront cottage with vaulted ceilings, beautiful views of the lake, southern exposure, fully equipped modern kitchen with granite counter tops & stainless steel appliances, and hardwood floors throughout. An oversized deck overlooks the lake and an easy set of steps takes you down to a private sandy beach with 100 feet of shoreline, gradual shallow entry and deep water off the dock. Fabulous snowmobile trails and located in the geocaching capital of Canada! Our 4 season cottage has vaulted ceilings and panoramic views of the lake. Inside is newly renovated and beautifully furnished with an Aretmano dining table made from Indian rosewood, granite counter tops and high-end appliances. The kitchen is very well appointed and ideal for those who love to cook. The living room is spacious and open concept with a wood burning fireplace for those chilly evenings. Outside there is a large deck and screened in summerhouse, both of which overlook the lake. Southern exposure provides sun all day long and the sunsets from the dock can be spectacular. The cottage is set up in the trees and feels very private, however, there are only about 25 steps to the beach, with 2 natural rest areas and sturdy railings (except for the last few steps to the beach). The 100' feet of pristine private sandy beach is spectacular and really sets this property apart in summer! The beach is perfect for young children to splash about and for people of all ages to have safe, gentle access to the lake. But there is also deep water off the dock for those of you who love to jump or dive in! The water is clean and clear and beautiful, with no pesky weeds in the swimming area. Southern exposure ensures there is full sun from sunrise to sunset on the dock and the beach! For the winter, the cottage has baseboard heating in every bedroom, both bathrooms, and the living and dining room. The heating is wifi controlled so you will arrive to a nice warm cottage. The cottage is very close to snowmobile trails and about half an hour away from Sir Sam's where you can ski, snowshoe and snowboard in the terrain park. They have a ski school and lots of programs for the kids. The cottage is also very close to Haliburton and people love the dog sledding tours through the forest! Closer to home, you can play on the frozen lake - shovel off a space to skate on the ice, make a curling rink, or just take a walk through the forest and enjoy the beauty! Or, stay in, put on a fire, and while away the days reading and relaxing, and playing cards or board games. There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage. The master bedroom has an incredibly comfortable king size bed with a memory foam mattress, an ensuite 4 piece bathroom with a tub and shower, sliding glass doors on the south side overlooking the lake, and a large window on the north side. The middle bedroom has a very comfortable bunk bed, with a twin XL mattress over a queen size bed. The 3rd bedroom has two twin XL mattresses pushed together with a king size foam mattress topper. The topper can easily come off and the beds can be pulled apart for those who need to share a room, but want a separate bed. All of our beds are top of the line and very comfortable, and our linens are always freshly laundered before your arrival. We love our cottage and our neighbours, some of whom have been on the lake for 50+ years. The cottage is perfect for people looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway in a well-loved and maintained cottage, in a beautiful setting. It is ideal for four to six adults, or families with children. This is NOT a suitable property for groups that are looking for a place to have loud parties. Nothing can go down the toilet except human waste and toilet paper. 2. No food waste, coffee grinds or grease can go down the sinks. 3. Long showers or multiple back-to-back showers will cause toilets and drains to backup.
