This is the Cottage at Fort Davis. A cozy early 20th century adobe home located one street over from historic downtown Fort Davis. One bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full bathroom, kitchen, living area with smart TV and electric log fireplace. A covered front porch with 2 big wooden rocking chairs, a beautiful view of the mountains, a fenced yard for your pet and propane grill. Fast, reliable AT&T WiFi, Heating, Air Conditioning, Cable TV. Two bicycles for getting around town. *Important COVID-19 information - we are scheduling our rentals to have a minimum 1 night vavancy between guests, so that we can throughtly disinfect before your stay.* This is the Cottage at Fort Davis. Newly renovated, this small, cozy early 20th century adobe home is perfect for a couple . Located on the original El Paso to San Antonio road that ran through the Fort, just one block over from historic downtown Fort Davis. It is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, small closet and chest of drawers. A full bathroom with toilet, sink, bath tub/shower. The kitchen has a table to seat two and is stocked with dinnerware, cookware and utensils. In addition to the refrigerator/freezer and range our kitchen is stocked with a drip coffee maker, microwave, small slow cooker and 2 slice pop-up toaster. We supply coffee, cereal, milk, sugar and a few spices The living room has a smart TV with TVPlus and Pluto TV channels (and you can also log in with your own Netflix, YouTube, Amazon or Hulu account), a clock charging station and electric log fireplace. We have fast WiFi! A covered front porch with two big wooden rocking chairs and a beautiful view of the mountains is a perfect place to have your morning coffee. We have WiFi, heating and Air Conditioning and a 4 burner propane grill. There is an outside table that seats 4. A fenced yard for you and your pets. We stock the bathroom with soap, shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper. The parking area/driveway is directly beside the house. Our electricity comes from 100% Texas Wind Power, all of our paper goods are 100% recycled paper and our bath products are cruelty free. You will have access to the full cottage and yard. You will be given your entry code for the door after booking is complete. You must clean up after yourselves in the kitchen and bathroom. Used towels must be placed in the hamper. Dishes and pans must be cleaned and put away. LEAVE IT LIKE YOU FOUND IT. Or you will receive a negative review. A day-trip to Big bend National Park which includes the entire Chisos mountain range. Home to a large portion of the Chihuahuan Desert with abundant desert wildlife. The Santa Elena Canyon, carved by the Rio Grande, features steep limestone cliffs. Langford Hot Springs, near the Mexican border, has pictographs. The breathtaking Chisos basin where you can also find a restaurant with amazing views. We always welcome children and pets! We have a fenced yard for pets. Two adult cruiser bikes with helmets for getting around town - use bicycles at your own risk! This is an OWNER OPERATED rental. It is our top priority to make sure that your stay is comfortable, clean and as expected. We are in the area full time.
