Challis Cabin

This cabin is in a quiet ranching neighborhood. It is right next to our house. It is 16X24 with a complete kitchen, and bathroom. We will supply for our guests farm fresh eggs(when available) and some breakfast food for you to cook at your convince. There is a barbecue grill. We are dog friendly. We have horse corrals and could board a horse with prearrangements. We are a training facility. We have an indoor arena where we work horses, and train stock dogs. Sometimes we even have puppies that sell to ranches, and family homes. Overall it is a fun place to visit. And you and your family might be able to watch a training session. Stock dog training might be available with prearrangement. From our place you can drive to numerous lakes. Hike to beautiful mountain hot springs. Play golf. Hire an outfitter to take you hunting(preplanned to obtain hunting tags), or take you fishing on the beautiful Salmon River. Ice fishing is an option in the winter. A ski resort is less than 2 hours north. We always love to meet new people. As we live right next door we are sure to see each other. But we respect your privacy. Challis is a small community of about 1000 people. There are many working ranches, and mining has been the source of income for many. Tourism attracts people, but the friendly nature of the community brings them back. Many places can be accessed by car. But to really have adventure a 4 wheel drive vehicle or a horse could be the ticket. Challis is a gate way to a wilderness area. Some like to explore amazing areas like the Bighorn Crags, or the Middle fork of the Salmon. Often adventure starts on paths less traveled.
