The Washington Suite: Offers a large sun-filled room, featuring a plush queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower, quaint seating, an electric wood burning stove and hosts a serine elegant atmosphere. This room whispers rest and relaxation. The Inn offers several common areas, an outside furnished brick patio and covered wrap around front porch. Our vision is to provide you a welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to stay and visit often. Multiple refrigerators are available, microwave, and Coffee Station for your enjoyment. All guest are welcome to use the downstairs living area and the kitchen. Just a short drive to the west, you’ll be amazed by the view of three states and two rivers at the Panorama Overlook. National Geographic rated the view as one of the five best overlooks in the Eastern United States. If you time your visit right, you’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset there. A restaurant at the overlook specializes in traditional steaks plus fresh, local and organic dishes. At Cacapon State Park, just ten miles from the cottage, you will find a man-made beach and swimming area, playgrounds, outdoor picnic and grilling spaces, plus a championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The park also features activities like hiking, fishing, tennis, row & paddle boats and horseback riding. The lodge offers a full-service restaurant. Outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy canoeing or kayaking on the Cacapon or Potomac Rivers, and biking or hiking the C&O Canal towpath in nearby Hancock. Berkeley Springs is nestled in the rolling hills of West Virginia, just 90 minutes (and less than a tank of gas) from the Washington, DC metro area.
