This a sweet 2 bedroom bungalow. Ideal for lovers, or a quiet beautiful environment for a retreat. Rooster has 1 full bath. Living room with satellite TV, wood burning stove fireplace, wood provided , fully equipped kitchen, dining table, linens and paper goods furnished. Large deck looking out on Cacapon Mountain. Hot tub off master bedroom deck in trees, feels like a tree house. Most mornings a mist rises up from river, about half mile away as crow flies, access point about a mile. Private hot tub under stars, big deck over the valley with Cacapon Mountain in the distance. Screened porch and two addition decks All of the house except one closet I keep for my stuff Available by phone, text or email. Outside Great Cacapon WV, a rural subdivision with 5-acre plots. Roads form a nice 1.25 walk. Deer, at least one bear, fireflies, birds, squirrels, raccoons. In season, stink bugs;). Quiet with a distant train whistle every couple of hours. Overlooking Cacapon Mountain, near river with dedicated access points. A mile or so away are two public access points. Good for kayaking, swimming and river sitting. Can introduce local kayak guides. Potomac River at Hancock is good for canoeing and kayaking or cycling on C&O Canal Towpath or Western Maryland Rail Trail. Cacapon Resort State Park is good for hiking and nature walks with rangers. Berry picking, home brewed kombucha nearby. Massage in Berkeley Springs and a modest but lively arts and music scene. Farmers market on Sundays April-December. Lots of thrift shops Need a car. We welcome pets but do have a pet fee of $20/pet per stay. Never had any trouble but would have to charge for real damage—house is carpeted
