Quiet Lakefront House- BBQ, canoe & beautiful view

Our adorable lake house is a great way to escape the busy city and relax by the lake! Listen to the birds chirp and take a dip in the lake right in your own back yard. Our bird feeder attracts tons of birds. A canoe and single person kayak are available. Highlights: Upper deck with BBQ Lower deck on the lake Driveway parking Washer/dryer Keurig & some coffee pods Lots of games & puzzles Lake is stocked w/fish (bring your own gear) Skylights in living room Working fireplace (pay for wood) Our house sleeps 6 comfortably (one bed being a single bed in a kids room with a pull out trundle bed). Guests over 150 pounds should not sleep on the trundle bed. You can take the mattress out and put it on the floor though. There is an ac unit in the living room and one in the master bedroom. There are ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms. You will have access to the whole house. I will be available by cell phone or have a family member on call in case of issues. Our home is in a cute lake community. There is a small downtown area for grocery shopping, liquor store, bagel shop, restaurants, diner, etc. all within 2 miles of the house, as well as several food delivery options. Ringwood is famous for its great hiking / biking trails nearby in Ringwood State Park. One of my favorites is a nice 2 mile walk out my front door and around the lake. There is a bus 2 miles from the house to many places including NYC (197/196 express). See NJ Transit to/from Ringwood Park & Ride. Lots of people from NYC take the Path to Newark and Uber over to my house as well. About me: This is my actual home where I live with my daughter (we stay with my sister when it’s rented) so our personal things are here. We will clear out space in each room and in the kitchen for you, but I ask that you please be respectful our home and things within. Thank you! Also, I’m queer, a feminist, and liberal. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable in my family’s home so if this offends you, please find another space to spend your time. I welcome everyone though if you can handle those things. About the lake: As with most lakes in NJ, there is green algae in the lake. We swim in it all the time. It is clean and tested regularly by our property owners association. We have 2-3 noodles, 4 kids life vests of varying sizes, and a boogie board for you to use. We have corn hole and washers games to play outside in the yard. You might see a beach on the lake, but it is private and not available for guest access. Sorry.
