Cozy Country Home

Our cozy 2 bedroom home is located in the country on 6 Acres. We are 15 minutes from the Lake Bemidji area and 30 minutes from Itasca State Park. Easy access from US Highway 2, and plenty of parking for your boat, Fish House or RV. The partially wooded property has a large front yard, and the secluded back yard has a barbecue grill and picnic table for your enjoyment! The interior of this two bedroom, two bath home has recently been remodeled. There is a one-car attached garage, a dine-in kitchen and a nice size living room. The TV can access a few local channels, and it has a built-in DVD player . We have provided a small selection of classic family-friendly DVDs for your use. You are also welcome to bring your own favorites! We do not currently have cable or a smart TV. A full bath is located off the hall, and the other smaller bath has access from a bedroom as well as the laundry area. The kitchen is furnished with the basics, oven, microwave and fridge. Plates, glasses, silverware and some cookware are provided, as well as a coffee pot and toaster. We also have provided a Pack n Play which can be used as a crib for a young child. There is a picnic table and propane Grill in the backyard for your enjoyment! We have added Wi-Fi this spring, it is not super fast, but it will work for basic needs. We have good cell coverage with all major carriers. There are 2 other buildings on the property that I use for storage. I will try to respect your privacy, but during the day I may occasionally need to access them. It is not uncommon to see wildlife in the area. Deer are plentiful, baby foxes have been sighted by the road behind the house. The occasional eagle may be seen perched in the trees, as well as other birds. And my kids never tire of watching the train when it goes by on the other side of the highway! There is a gas station / convenience store less than a quarter mile away.
