Escalante Pioneer Home

Spacious home in Escalante, Utah. Central to various hikes in Grand Staircase monument, Bryce Canyon and other nearby National Parks. We also encourage you to check out the less well known hikes in areas of Boulder that are a short drive- the adventures are endless! Great views to enjoy from the four patios in the evening in this quiet neighborhood. We just completed remodeling this pioneer home with brand new paint and flooring throughout! It is a home that has been in our family for 6 generations since it was built in 1905. We love to hike the nearby trails and appreciate your stay as the funds are going to restoring the home and to keeping it family owned. We have also recently purchased a brand new game table for guests to enjoy while in the home with Foosball, pool and air hockey! Lots of other board games and movies come ready. We hope you enjoy your stay! Please note that we do have a washer, but with the home being old it does not have connections for a dryer. We have a clothes line outside clothes can be hung to dry and hangers above the washer to hang dry clothes. There is also a laundromat 1.2 miles away that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Spring-Fall. We also have a large portable air conditioner, as again this is an old pioneer home that was not build with AC. We do have an oil heating furnace which works great during the winter months.
