Charming Malden-on-Hudson

Our house is a charming renovated 1850s farm style house in the lovely and peaceful hamlet of Malden-on-Hudson. Malden is just 2 miles outside of Saugerties. We offer our guests a private entrance with the use of the full house. You will enter downstairs and find a living room, dining room and a brand new kitchen. Upstairs there is a bathroom and 4 bedrooms - 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and two smaller bedrooms with single beds. The house is a short block away from the Hudson River with a public boat landing and dock. Bring your paddle boards and kayaks. Saugerties has great restaurants, shops, a yoga studio, a fantastic bookstore, and much more. The famous Saugerties lighthouse is just 2 miles away. There are many enchanting near-by points of interest and places to visit where you can enjoy the natural beauty and cultural activities in this section of the Catskill Mountains and Hudson river. Woodstock is less than 10 miles away and Rhinebeck is a short drive across the river. HITS on the Hudson - the famous olympic level horse jumping venue which runs 6 weeks in the summer, is less than a mile away. During the winter you are 30 minutes away from great skiing and snow boarding at Hunter Mountain. Bruce lives in an attached private apartment that is separated from the guest space of the house. As your host, he offers guests friendly support and interactions, but he will also respect your need for privacy. No pets unless pre-approved by owners. Please discuss before bringing your dog. We are concerned about pet allegories that we know cause some of our guests to problems.
