Winnies on Mount Kineo Island

This is a luxury home located on Mt Kineo Island in the middle of Moosehead Lake region It has views of Mt. Kineo, Kineo Cove and the Golf Course. It is an amazing island with around 30 homes, a state park, and a 9 hole golf course. The home its self is a extremely comfortable 3,800 sq ft dream home with a 16ft tall slate fireplace. Kineo Island is a perfect place for hiking, fishing, golfing, meditating with nature and relaxing in the sun at pebble beach minutes from the front door. The house comes with the use of a private dock. The kitchen is well equipped for hosting and cooking for all. A five burner gas stove top, large Breville countertop convection oven with airfry, grill and toaster, big fridge/freezer , dishwasher and anwith attached breakfast nook/dining. There is also a large dining area with views of Mt. Kineo. Golf carts are available for rent on the island. We offer fast wi-fi at the house and there is a smart tv with wifi Netflix . The Golf Club also offers free wi-fi. You will be able to enjoy the entire house to yourself. We also have another home on the island and are on the island frequently in the summer. Mt Kineo is a remote island with the only business on island being the pro shop for the golf course. A five minuet boat ride away there is the rockwood bar and grill with attached convince store. For a normal grocery store run Greenville ME twenty minuets drive south has it all. If your headed up to Moosehead its awesome to have a boat to enjoy all that there is to offer. Boats can be rented locally and if your not into boating there is a shuttle that is run by the golf course that can transport you to Kineo Island Kineo Island is accessible by boat or public boat shuttle provided by the golf course. It is a perfect place to bring your own boat. we will provide you with your own private dock space. The Kineo Golf course shuttle runs between Memorial Day and Columbus Day all season long and we will be happy to provide you with their schedule as well. You can rent a golf cart from Butch and Nancy Billing. If you would like their number let us know. The trash is bring in/bring out. There is a dump in Rockwood open, Sunday, Monday and Thursday from 8am to 4 pm. There are instructions at the house taped on the refrigerator.
