Stay in our 1964 Oasis "Helen Wheels" decorated in hand curated farm chic decor with matching outdoor furniture. Situated on a 20 acre farmstead, property is a separate parcel and entrance away from the host residence, Boasting abundant trees and a year round creek, wildflowers until early July, shaded camp site, bird songs and bird watching opportunities, free range poultry, and friendly horses. Each evening, listen to the coyotes howl, the owls hoot, crickets chirp, frogs croak (spring). ***Note county wide burn ban in effect for the 2021 season** No wood fires, propane appliances and fire pits only. I do offer a propane fire pit with propane for rent for $30, inquire about availability before booking. Stay in our traditional unrestored vintage "glamper" which is a vintage camper decorated cute and feminine, with camping type accommodations, think no running water and using an outhouse. This trailer is not upscale or modern, it has granny's farm vintage vibe. It is however equipped with power, mini fridge, heater and coffee maker. Far from a modern RV but "Farm Chic" which is junky, chippy, dusty, patina style. Nothing is new or like new, it is quirky and funky for those that appreciate a unique hand curated, vintage, artsy, country vibe. We invite artists to even come paint her! We will comp a stay for approved artists! Yes you may use the vintage commode as a night time chamber pot. Just dump the liquid in the bushes and rinse, put TP in the trash. Camper is equipped with a single top bunk and a double bed on the bottom. We have a cabin or bell tent have to sleep 4-8 people. Please inquire about availability. We suggest you bring your own sleeping bags which is easiest, but if you are not able to, we have you covered with sheets, blankets and pillowcases in the closet to make your own bed on top of the decorative quilts. Please fold the blankets up and put them on the top bunk when finished and leave the used linens in a pile for laundering. The trailer is equipped with a fan, in the summer it gets pretty hot during the day but cools off nicely at night, temps dip into the 60s overnight and it's very comfortable. We use peppermint oil to repel rodents, please do not eat inside the trailer or keep any food inside the trailer except in the mini fridge as not to attract rodents. If you eat or store food in the trailer, a furry friend may come for a visit and a snack. Situated on a farmstead, separate entrance away from the host residence, camper is on its own 10-acre parcel. Peaceful and quiet, very relaxing during the shoulder season or weekdays. Occasionally you will hear noisy air traffic or train crossing the tracks, but it is rare. We may have other campers using another campsite on the property, we a off leash pet friendly and family friendly. Please note that during the week, you will most likely have the entire grounds to yourself or shared with only one other group which may or may not have children and pets. On summer weekends, expect to share the 5 acre grounds several groups, on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day) guests will experience a more social festive atmosphere. Please do not book during the summer if off leash pets or children bother you. Please do not knock on neighbor's doors looking for check in, let yourself in and make yourself at home. The property is next to an airfield so it is urban bright at night, by no means pitch dark. We are in the wild west and guns are common in our neighborhood, people target shoot and shoot predators attacking livestock including unsupervised wandering dogs, however there are no guns on the property listed. Due to livestock and coyotes watch dogs carefully when off leash. If you have an unaltered male dog he may find my spayed female Coonhound irresistible, please keep intact male dogs on a leash or supervised with an e-collar so they don't follow her to my house. Dogs that do not have recall or are prone to wander will be asked to stay on a leash. We offer pony rides, farm tours, nature hikes, guitar camp fire sing along, propane fire pit during burn bans, and s'mores kits, our farm raised ground beef, farm fresh eggs, and hotdog or hamburger kits and Inflatable SUP rental to paddleboard Medical Lake 10 minutes away for additional fees. Check out our Airbnb Experiences and book and pay host direct for a guest discount when you stay. Text or call if needed. Very private and hands off otherwise after greeting. I do check in once a day on multi night stays. Very private location away from main house. We may have other campers using another campsite on the property. Normally this only occurs on weekends Peaceful and quiet mid-week during the summer and in May or September. We are packed with campers during the summer weekends with a festive social environment. Occasionally you will hear noisy air traffic or train crossing the tracks, but it is rare. We may have other campers using another campsite on the property near the camper. Please note that mid-week and shoulder season, you will most likely have the entire grounds to yourself for a private experience. On busy summer weekends, expect to share the 5 acre grounds with several groups and experience a more social festive atmosphere. The property is next to an airfield so it is urban bright at night, by no means pitch dark. The Air Force base plays Reveille at 7 am, Star Spangled Banner at 5 pm and Taps at 9 pm on weekdays. Aviation enthusiasts will enjoy watching the variety of unusual aircraft and paratrooper drills. We are in the wild west and guns are common in our neighborhood, people target shoot and shoot predators attacking livestock including unsupervised wandering dogs, however there are no guns on the property listed. Due to livestock and coyotes watch dogs carefully when off leash. Car or bike.. nice Trails for biking or hiking nearby. Medical Lake with a swimming area and lake trail is a 10 minute drive away, Riverside State Park and the Spokane River is a 15 minute drive away. Please read the listing thoroughly, I do not issue refunds after arrival for anything mentioned in this listings. Please note that during hot summer days it is very hot inside during the day, not the best for naps. Temps plummet after 7:00 p.m. and it's nice and refreshingly cool at night We are pet friendly, however we are trying to keep this unit cat free for those with allergies and the trailer will not contain a cat. Please book our Farm Safari bell Tent or Bunkhouse on the Prairie which are cat friendly. ***Note county wide burn ban in effect for the 2021 season** We have a very friendly large loud Coonhound name Charlie who greets visitors and lets us know someone has arrived. She is super friendly and submissive to guests and visiting dogs despite her loud bay. Her small companion Cricket has little dog syndrome and does not appreciate dog aggressive dogs or small children picking her up. Quiet time is 10 pm, as the property is shared with other guests and the owners live on site, please do not use flashlights after 10 pm and stay inside the trailer quietly after 10 pm. If you arrive after 10 pm head straight to the trailer and make yourself at home. Since it's on a farm in a pasture, it is not white glove sparking clean due to the location and age of the trailer. Not recommended for children under 6. Camping property ends at the creek, please do not cross the creek or the bridge across the creek. The rural area of our region is habitat for rodents, ticks (May and June only) and mosquitoes. We use peppermint oil to repel rodents and stock bug stray to repel insects. I have confirmed we do not have the species of tick that carry tick-borne diseases in our area. Camper is equipped with bug spray for your convenience. No running water, porta potty and bottled water provided, as well as coffee, milk and cream are freshly purchased for our guests' use.
