Simply Sweet Carmel Apartment

Simple, quiet, floor level apartment in house with easy access to RT 2 and 10 minutes to interstate 95 with an easy 25 minute drive to Bangor. Guests will have access to their own entry in a spacious apartment with two twin beds and a pull out sofa. Take a walk through the woods, nearby lakes, along the nearby railroad tracks, or up the road to a local recreational field if you like being outside. If you'd rather bunker down inside, enjoy free WiFi and a Roku TV for hours of entertainment. The property is set back from the road in rural Carmel. We are less than a mile from route 2, but we are definitely in a quiet town in rural Maine. The apartment is essentially a finished basement, so windows are limited, but the entry way, the bedroom, and living room area is well lit by windows that are able to be opened for fresh air. The well closet and furnace room are locked and not permitted access during your stay. You'll have a large parking lot available to you so parking is not a problem at all. Host lives above apartment in house and is available most nights and weekends, but will be available by phone to answer any questions you may have during your stay. Located in a very quiet part of town, but a two minute drive from a local market with lots of good take out options. Also a short drive to a grocery store as well as other stores to meet most needs you may have. Located 5 miles off interstate 95, it makes for a convenient drive to the highway if you're interested in taking a trip out to Bangor or Bar Harbor, or you're headed south towards Augusta or Portland.
