Our backyard is the National Forest - you can enjoy the playing in the snow, sledding, hiking, etc. Fireplace in living room (firewood NOT provided) Front and back porch/deck with a picnic table and patio furniture for relaxing during the day or evening. Guest have access to the whole cabin with the exclusion of two housekeeping supply closets located in the hallway of bedroom #1. Pincrest Lake is an approx. 1 mile; which offers the marina, horseback ridding, swimming, fishing, seasonal outdoor theater, paddle boats/ kayaks/party boat/sailboat/ and motor boat rentals Leland High Sierra Snow Play is approx. 5 miles from our cabin where you can toboggan. Long Barn Lodge is an approx. 12-mile drive; during winter they offer outdoor ice skating. Visitor information can be found at the U.S. Forest Service Summit Ranger Station approx. 2 miles from the cabin. If you are looking to visit a nearby casino, Black Oak Casino is located in Tuolumne. Sonora offers golf, theatre, antiques, cinema, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Please understand that our property is located in the forest, which means that reliable and trustworthy services for cleaning are hard to find. It also means that trash services are not provided in these areas. Our cleaning fee allows us to provide our guest ease with fresh bed linens, blankets, and towels. Please be sure to bring your own personal toiletries. Renters have access to laundry room, which has both a washer and dryer. During winter, laundry room cannot be used in the AM due to the high possibility that pipes can freeze during the night and back up during the drain cycle.
